Writing is one way to make money from home. Sometimes you will receive feedback on your writing from fellow members of a writing group, a tutor if you are doing a course or an editor. Work that you submit in the hope of being published will sometimes be rejected. Being rejected or receiving criticism can be hurtful but don't give up. Sometimes that criticism will help you improve your writing.

Sometimes rejection of your work has nothing to do with its quality.
Keep in mind the way you write for an online readership is different from how you write for a newspaper which is different from how you write for a magazine and that is different from the way you would write for a more academic publication. This can be confusing at first.

Just because someone criticises your work doesn't mean your writing isn't a valid creation.
Receiving criticism of your writing can be disappointing. Getting rejection slips can be disheartening. However, if one is going to make money writing one needs to develop a thick skin, take any relevant suggestions on board and just keep writing.
