Before you begin take a moment to answer these three questions:

Do I have a personal relationship with God and knowledge of the Bible (i.e. regular devotional life and proficient knowledge of many Bible passages)?

Have I received an honest appraisal of my work from a qualified writer or editor, confirming that I am ready to enter the freelance field?

Have I prayed about submitting my material to Warner Press?

If you said yes to all 3 questions, you are ready to submit greeting card verse to Warner Press and they look forward to seeing it!

Warner Press is looking for greeting card verse that says "I care" and to inspire, uplift.

Be specific enough to sound sincere, but general enough that a group could send, as they only produce boxed greeting cards.

Use a conversational tone. No poetry language.

Do not preach or use a negative tone. Share God's love and provide Christian witness.

Most accepted verses average 4 lines in length.

Warner Press pays $35.00 on acceptance.

When submitting:

Identify each verse with a code number that you create.

Keep copies of your work.

Include your e-mail address on every page.

Send submissions to:

Karen Rhodes, Senior Editor
krhodes@warnerpress.org

and/or

Robin Fogle, Product Editor
